Aviators honored

Chief Warrant Officer 3 Donald Clark and Chief Warrant Officer 2 Christian Humphreys, 6th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment pilots, were honored Tuesday at a memorial service at Fort Wainwright’s Northern Lights Chapel. The boots with spurs and the flight helmets complete with night-vision goggles signify the pilots’ unique profession. Both pilots were killed when their OH-58 Kiowa helicopter crashed Nov. 15 near Mosul, Iraq.
